RIP Tom "CaptainCruise" Pappaceno

I'm sorry to bring bad news. I saw on FB today that one of our long time members passed suddenly today. CaptainCruise joined Subsim on March 27, 2002. He only had 141 posts but was one of guys from the SH2/DC days, a very positive guy, and he will be missed. I got an email from him every year, and he was always full of good humor and thoughtfulness.

It is with the deepest sadness that I write this to inform everyone of the death of my brother Tommy. Tommy passed away this evening at the age of 52. He suffered a massive stroke last Friday which resulted in serious brain damage. He never regained consciousness. My mom, me, and my longtime girlfriend Jennie Munger Harrison were with him when he passed.
Tom was one of the most outgoing and entertaining guys I’ve ever met. He was an avid Mets fan (I was a Yankees fan which, you can imagine, led to some lively debates in our household). He was the captain of a fishing boat and was born to be on the water.
