New install SH3 2021

Hello all,

It's has been years ago since I played SH3, due to a desktop crash and the loss of my career (few years at the helm) and a load of personal data. I was so frustrated that I didn't even bother to start playing again. I lost myself in World of Tanks, Warships and a load of other games .. always playing with a nick like HerrKaleun

After watching a few Youtube movies I was hooked again and found my copy of Unisoft SH3 in the attic.

I only find it hard how to install the game properly and don't know which mods I should install. Always played with the GWX mod, SH commander and a few mods which brought more ships to the game.

Can you guys help me out with a good install advice with just a few good MODS. i tried downloading a few mods but came across some broken links, so I hope you guys can help me out a bit with a list of basic mods which I should use.

First install the dvd of SH3 -> update to 4b -> GWX3 mod -> SH commander 3.2 -> the other mods?
