Hi everyone,
New here, been lurking as a none member for a few days,
I love simulators in general, and especially sub sims,
I think SH3 was my true first experience, I was looking for something less arcade and more realistic in sub sims and was frustrated by SH4 and SH5 that followed, even gave the new early access Uboat a spin.

And then it happened, I became aware of the existence of mods for Sh...
(this is how I found subsim)
I can't tell you how delighted I was to fire up WOS on SH5 (a game I considered a toy rather than a simulation, and a broken one at that) and discovered a proper sub sim! with all the bells and whistles, far exceeding my expectations.
I feel embarrassed that I missed on all this for so many years!

Anyways, glad to have found you all and this forum
