This sub guy just foams at the mouth as each time Tomi posts his work seems to double in quality! And yes, I realize and appreciate that the Wolves have been a part of his increased skill, as have other people, such as skwasjer.

I encourage you to think about a separate commercial product, even if it IS able to be incorporated in the game. This quality work deserves a monetary reward and there is no way anyone will ever view it without gaining a new appreciation for the beauty and complexity of U-Boats.

@moderators, I wish to register a complaint. This thread is inappropriately not stickied. It contains the highest quality work ever performed for the Silent Hunter Series.

@gimpy: it's a good thing that we have divergent modder groups with different modding philosophies. Very often one will prove that a sacred cow of the other is just a misconception. For instance, if Tomi's engine room sits in SH4 or SH3 without impacting game performance, that would alter the mindset of the "gameplay is king" contingent in RFB, making it easier for eyecandy to qualify. Such a discovery is very unlikely in a climate where all modders have the same philosophy and preconceptions. They would be inclined to just reject the eyecandy out of hand. Differences in opinion are good!
