Default "No chemistry in MY food!"

Australian chemistry teacher James Kennedy has taken the trouble to create ingredient lists for fruit - the way they would have to look if there were a declaration requirement by law. You can see that: Even so-called natural foods consist of a mixture of chemical substances.

Reminds me of how dihydrogen monoxide has killed countless humans, animals and plants over eons.

The interview is in German and NZZ makes it complicated to popst translated website links (via Google), it mostly does not work. It sinterestign what the guys says, plain reason, so if somebody is interted, copy and paste the whole text into DeepL or Google Translator and read it there.

There is so much hysteria regarding "natural food" these days. It has been pushed into becoming a cult, a surrogate religion. And when the talk is of chemistry, it immediately turns irrational.

Despite my food recommendations on ketogenic diat and supplements and all that, I do not care overly much for the "artifical chemistry" in the food I eat, am quite relaxed on it. I eat more things for mere taste and less for health benefits than I maybe sound like.
