What are some great mods for beginners for the silent hunter series?

Ahoy, mates!
I've been watching wolfpack345's videos on the silent hunter series and have to dive into the subsim hobby, pun intended. Are there any worthwhile mods, specifically WWII related if it's a sub, I should take a look at for silent hunter? mostly an avsim guy and have been wanting to look at something a little different. Thanks for the help and I hope y'all are having a wonderful evening!

I'd suggest you go to the relevant mod sections on the forum dependant on what theatre of war you are most interested in.

I've only just started using it, but it's based on (and includes) two of the best mods (GWX and GUC) that I've been using for a while - GWX OneAlex Edition:

Download link in video description. Installation instructions in the readme. It's new and still being added to.
