Probably going to dual major. Rocket science may have something to do with it.

Currently, Mechanical Engineering. However, I am considering dual majoring in Mechanical and Aerospace engineering. I like machines but I like aircraft and rockets. The programs themselves are not entirely too different so it wouldn't be a whole lot extra to dual major.

Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics.

I'm studying to be an engineer. This is why I don't have time to SUBSIM anymore.

Well given your shaky driving record : kindly combine Friction Coefficiency 101 (aka: tyre-treads on pavement cohesion) to your rocketry aspirations.... We knew something would STEM from listening to us old drivers!

I mean, IF you want to bring this up again.

I understand how those things work. Tire contact patches and grip and such. Might I remind you only one of the two incidents was due to poor driving techniques. Such behaviors were long ago corrected.

I will say, on record, that my experiences driving, fixing, taking apart, and breaking cars has greatly influenced my decision to major in mechanical engineering. It has also led me to working for Missouri Department of Transportation Highway Safety division each summer educating younger drivers about the dangers.

I will also tell you (just for giggles) that I am dabbling in amateur racing and will be entering in SCCA Autocross Stock Class next year.

Be sure to get an advertising contract to pay for good tires:

Only if you're a Chemical Engineering major.

------------

Nothing like getting excited over nothing.

Ordered car parts last week. Needed new struts and strut mounts for the E46 so I ordered those with all the hardware.

Boxes get here. I get excited. Started checking through them.

Two boxes have the correct parts and I move onto the big box which is supposed to contain new Bilstein struts and various hardware.

E36 M3 Big Brake Kit.

So I have to wait longer now.

Half term holiday for our son next week, so we'll have to forego our usual mornings entertainment: we all wait in the car for the school bus in the same spot each weekday, and every day a young mother passes by with pushchair, small girl and brown dog on lead.

Well sometimes the dog stops to take a dump in a nearby garden, on their lawn. She has to then bag it and carry it off. Other times he doesn't want to go (maybe he went before they came out) but if he does then it's always on the same lawn.

It's sad, I know, but when they appear we settle down to watch... our son quickly wipes the fog off his window in the back and presses his face to the glass... waiting. Will he or won't he?

Hope to be discharged from the hospital podiatry department and transferred to my local medical centre today now that the hole in my foot has healed.

Should then be able to put on my dancing shoes for the daughters engagement party next weekend.

Off work losing money and no end to my back pain. Two weeks with hardly any improvement and hit a new low, can't take much more of this. Second major time this year my back has gone on top of three minor ones as well.

Steed, you never said what is causing this pain in your back. Injury or slipped disc or .....
Make inquirers with your physician regarding devices which can block nerve impulses and pain receptors if you can't get relief any other way.

Glad things are working out for you though, jim.

TENS machine? I didn't know you were this bad, mate. I'd been thinking you were quiet lately; chronic pain gets you right down, for sure.
