Default The next era of ATI cards....

Within a few months we are going to see the first DX11 cards for sale by ATI. 40nm like the 4770 but with a great deal more power.

The Rumors so far.

A) There will be an X2 version. It will be extremely expensive but will likely be one of the most powerful cards in the world.

B) 1200 Stream Processors!

Not too too much is known about this next generation but as they used the 4770 to "clean the pipe" yields are likely to be high so prices will likely only be slightly higher than the 4870s in my view.

I have not seen anything about cheaper versions like the 4350s and 4550s but you have to keep in mind. They need to pay for the research investment. And people are ready to do some upgrades at that point of the year. A few months of yields going into the power cards and once things taper down some I am sure they will get out a 5530 and 5550.
