Nortons 360.
Simple to use just set and forget, not a resource hogger either. Free - then go Avira Personal edition. Avoid Comodo's antivirus just a piece of bugware, there firewall is okay but not the antivirus IMO. |

Free scanners work to a certain point.
You should never wonder why you got a vrius if you use free software,it does only part of the job. I used both AVG and Avast, got two trojans that they didnt even see...and they both make mistakes by identifying applications as malware or other ware.According to Avast GTA4 has a worm,crazy... I introduced the trojan on my laptop, which has ESET smart security..immediate recognition! So i use ESET now, much lighter on the processes, very much running without you even knowing it. A good scanner should update at least 4 times a day,the free ones dont even update twice a day.. |
