Default DirectX 9C install without internet?

When you look for an updated DirectX 9C install, you have to install a file called "webupdate" or something like that. But it's just a "tracker" that downloads the true DX files and installs them.
The problem is that, if i want to update DX on a computer that doesn't have an internet connection, or if Micro$oft directives suddenly go out of their minds and cut off the DX9 support, there's no way to install the updated version.
So my question is quite simple: is there any way to have all the files already stored on a single file so i can take it on a pen drive, for example?

I've tried that, but it doesn't do anything. The installer opens, i accept, and then it says that all the components are up to date, but they aren't. It has to be decompressed inside a system folder?

Downgrade/Uninstall your current DirectX - http://www.softpedia.com/get/Securit...adicator.shtml

Then repeat the above to get 9c installed.

That or check any semi recent game, they almost always come with a full version of dx9c.

Ok, i've found that ArmA 2 comes with the latest DX9C. I've been testing on a virtual machine, but i'm a bit confused about the install order: what goes first, the sound and graphics card drivers or DX? I think the first one are the drivers, right?

Don't think it matters, but I would install DX first since it's a lower "layer".
