MapToolsAsObjects = False
I have not tried.
Thus it is possible to increase the tools to any size

No, IIRC, this option allows switching between the tools displayed on the side tool bar (false) or as objects directly on the map (true).

I don't know any other method for increasing further their size. Once I tried modding the map settings, but I failed miserably...

Nonetheless I am Obelix could do it easily

Yeah, i have already enabled the map tools in New UIs TDC as Gap tell me...
But my problem is they appear very small due to my resolution.

It seems there is no way to increase them
Well, no big deal, i just have to close my screen pretty much each time i want to use them

You are probably the first one who wants to increase them. All wanted to reduce them.

Hey guys, I see that I have to make a fix for mod, which will include scaling tools. Now the tools do not scale: they have a fixed size in pixels. The result of this approach still emerged - on monitors with higher resolution screen tools have become too small. My monitor has a resolution of 1280x1024 (well, there is a TV 1920x1080) and I have not had the opportunity to see how it will be on other resolutions.

Hey guys, who can tell me: which file contains the names of geographic features? (straits, islands, etc.)

I think they are stored in data/Terrain/LocationMaps. File format: shp. If you want an example, there is a mod which corrects mispellings of German geographical names featured in the tock game. Its name is: SD_MapLocationNamesFix_1.2

It is available on gamefron (link), but if you want, I can upload it elsewhere.

Hi, gap.
Obelix wants to know which file are "triggers." That trigger the emergence of new names on the Map. He does not want to change the name. Wants to make new ones. The Map will be interesting (straits, islands, capes etc.).
I suspect that these "triggers" are in *exe.
Ibid and "grid coordinates", and "MQK" (which is not in the game).

No, I can be wrong, but I don't think they are hardcoded. In any case, I am sure Trevally is much more informed than me on this topic
