I tried it yesterday.

What a great compilation Fifi! It`s beautiful, and all in one simple to install package!


I`d love to play it with Hitman optics(or whole GUI), is there a way to do it ? I`m afraid it may be difficult because of resolution difference, but one may dream...

Anyway big thanks!

NYGM has always been quite hardcore, so is the GUI!

For next update... still more variety
Some ships i wanted to add in NYGM.

Large cargo


With other skin


Armed kind of TUG Boat...with DC throwers!


French & FreeFrench Arras class...kind of Q ship also


New escort corvette class...other than the lonely Flower


Chemical cargo


No harbor without the usefull little pusher/puller!


Russian tanker...you may see him in Baltic & Black Sea

as far as the "next/previous cam view" issue. I've been playing a Black Sea Career (well several careers in 4 days) pretty heavily, putting the "next/previous cam" through it's paces. I have NOT been able to duplacate this issue again. It's never come back after a restart of career 1/ patrol 1. hope this helps

Have this latest version installed and is running great. Even after all of my fiddling around with some files.

Did some North Atlantic trials and took a few screen shots. Really nice atmosphere and lighting adds a refreshing change to NYGM. The new ships models look amazing. Seemed a pity to sink such beauties.

Getting ready to load up the Mediterranean and Black Sea Campaigns. Do not expect any real issues. Let you know how it goes.

Ok, couple of queries.. Doolar bud.


With those careers... starting out in the 1st patrol.... when you set out, did you start off docked or did you short cut it, with starting out to sea, some ways away from base.?


With a "restart' of career 1... do ya mean, dumping a career that was started & starting a fresh career... or starting off in a career from a save with having the issues & that the cams issue, failed to show back up or... what, exactly...

Some... clarification, for edification, if ya would be so kind... bud.

OK, not sure if it was Sunday or Monday of this week, but I started a new career. The first career in a new installment of NYGM Enhanced, that would be with the new version of NYGM Enhanced, released after the Blk Sea CDT issue was fixed. I started at the pier and not too long into the game I was cycling through the ships and my boat for some screen shots, when my camera malfunctioned. Just like what has been described here in several post above. The same exact issue. Now, I was not only messing with the cycling of the ships with the < and > keys, I was also messing with the F12 key too. That's when I ran into the camera issue. I figured I messed something up. I couldn't find my boat and since this career didn't count (my tester career). I exited the game and completely deleted that career from my "Save Game folder" in Documents. Ran CCleaner and restarted my PC. At that point, I set up a new career and ran my first patrol from port (no modding of my boat yet). I cycled (< and >) through the ships in the port of Constanza and my boat many times and at a fast pace too, just to duplicate the issue and actually try to break it again. The "cam" issue hasn't returned, with either that career or with other test careers I started. This morning I decided to kill those test careers off and start a serious career. So far so good. I have cycled on ships in port and on a friendly convoy a few hours out and, all is good. I did see what you guys saw but only once. Hope this helps ... Jerry
Oh yeah, my startdate was around October 1942. Can't remember the exact day.

Hmmm... am gonna check on the current career that I have, My serious career start that has a few add ins, that as I've made mention are eye candy only... nothing that tinkers with anything major... see what happens with using the < & > cam's...

Well, I came exactly from NYGM which have Hitman Optics (as an option iirc).
Anyway, care to point me to the your mods optics documentation? I`m not sure how to use it correctly (the wheel thingy, degree/mil marks on peris/UZO, U-Jagd stopwatch etc. ) ? I saw similar things in other mods, but can`t find any proper instructions/documentation. Have any pointers?

On a side note I just finished my first patrol. It was long (> month), and unlucky .April 1942: there were convoys around my AL26 grid but always too far. I have found convoy after 3 weeks, and managed to sink one large merchant. on my return trip i encountered escort carrier with one destroyer (first time ever!), but had only one torpedo and 10% of fuel, darn.Oh, and it was 3 weeks almost constant storm (> 10m/s winds).
After first patrol I can repeat: thanks for sharing your work.

Default Square boxes (search light beams) GONE

Hi Fifi
Have installed your latest DL and I'm glad to tell you the square boxes I was getting at night from the escorts search lights are gone. The search light beams are circular now as they should be...thank you.


Question. When adding/subtracting crew I noticed one of the officers has no qualifications. Should that officer be dismissed and changed out with an officer that does? In an earlier version of your enhanced version when I moved an officer back to his original position (one of three in the centrale) I had a CTD. I have not had a chance to try that again, when I do I'll let you know the result.

I'm going to answer your question Fifi is very busy and he has already answered that...
During your first "weddigen" mission, do not touch the original composition of the crew, add the sailors.. the non-commissioned officers.. is a machinist to complete the missing personnel and do not touch anything else, neither torpedoes nor coats of arms. ..
now if one of the members doesn't have a photo, that's normal too..
when you have passed this step... during the real patrol you can modify what you want...
