Hello

I have installed and played this mod yesterday. Some issues called my attention.

1) Started in base, Kiel. The boat was a type VIIB and had a type C conning tower...
2) The already mentioned texture problem in the u-boat pens.
3) (WEIRD) crashing sounds coming from all the AI ships... But they were not crashing, just sailing... This one is really not good, how can I fix it?
4) Theres no GRID MAP in the Atlantic... Only in the Pacific...

5) I miss compatibility with TMO... Its sounds and environmental efects are really good.
6) Some textures in the command room are black

Great mod, with great potential, this is my attempt to contribute, good luck

The crashing sound comes from two docked ships that were scripted side by side, but at a 90 degrees from each other, so one sits atop of the other. If you go external cam and high enough, you'll notice them not far from your uboat's starting point. You can correct them easily if you find the right file.

Thank you for the answer, but I believe that this sound (of crashing) somehow substituted the engine sound on those ships. When you get closer with the camera, the sound increases its volume. And this happens with every AI ship. :hmm:

There are plenty of ships on top of each other
Duplication of campaign layers
Look closely at the ships



Note the 2 different skins meeting halfway

There are ships at 90 degrees too

The sound comes from these ships docked together

Default Bug Report: No Sensor Availability On Type VIIB

I d'loaded and am in my tenth patrol in the 7th Flotte. I just finished my first patrol from L'Orient after moving from Wilhelmshaven in a type VIIb(9th patrol overall). My bug is that I still have no sensor availability at all. I am still in 1940 so I wouldn't expect to have radars but I have not had any hydrophone availabilty in any refit period. I WAS able to upgrade deck guns from 88mm to 105mm and flak guns. Any info on sensor availability time frames would be greatly appreciated or a possible cause if it is a bug.

they share the same root, latin but as of being similar, no way don Jose.

and you dont want to get us involved on "spanish" issues, you would be amazed, spanish changes strongly from country to country, accents, names for things.

sometimes neighborign countries speak quite different flavors, I shuold know, I was born in El Salvador, studied in ES, Costa Rica and Panama all the way to high school, attended college in CR and both my younger brothers did their school and college in Panama.... and we get confused sometimes.

Just like i said before...this its a only a information...its not a petition for anything, the things are great as they are and i dont wont a mod traduced to Portuguish...English its fine to me!

Where is Spain compared to Great Britain? Australia? Finland? France? In all the nations of the world, Spain is #5 on SUBSIM! Yet CA-24F is the first Spanish mod to be represented here. If you add Argentina and Mexico, over 8.2% of the people in SUBSIM speak spanish (Mexican is sort of spanish, heck if they count, Brazil counts because they can understand each other). I'd say more spanish language translations of mods would be extremely appropriate.

And what's that with Switzerland as #2? What a total surprise! Where in hades are the Swiss mods???? Bring 'em on!

From an American viewpoint, although the first settlement in what later became the US was French at Fort Caroline, the second, and first permanent settlement was St Augustine, Florida in 1565. The first St Augustine settlers were grandfathers and grandmothers before the settlement of Jamestown in 1607. Did I mention that they spoke Spanish?

Default Whats the difference?

Hi!

Great work!

Haven't tried this mod, only tried Operation monsun.
Just wondering what the difference between this mod and the Operation monsun.

I thought operation monsun was great but I missed some more action.
Maybe it is not historically accurate, but I would like convoys to appear more frequently, and I'm wondering if maybe this mod has more convoys than monsun?
