Windows 7 64bit Ultimate
Ok I was wanting to see if anybody has installed TVT on a Win7 64bit OS?
I am about to move both computers to Win7.. my laptop is running the RC3 Win7 32 bit and TVT runs great but I am worried about the 64bit version. any ideas? |

Yes, I have it installed under win7 64bit and it works perfectly, I don't even have to set any "compatability" settings or anything.
If you have an Nvidia video card then I would also suggest installing the latest 64bit driver from the Nvidia website, it's not absolutely necessary but the default Microsoft one doesn't have openGL and it doesn't do screen stretching (a problem if you have a wide-screen monitor as you'll get the 2 black bars at the sides). I run the following games under 64bit perfectly - T34 v Tiger Battlefield 1942 +RTR +SW (I installed it into Program Files NOT Program Files x86 though) Battlefield 2 Enemy Territory ET Quake Wars HL2 + ep1 +ep2 (Steam) Return to Castle Wolfenstein Empire Earth + Expansion |

Just to confirm what Growbag and Hodi have already stated,it runs great under Win 7 64 bit.
In fact for games,I have found this O/S to be the best.Older stuff in particular runs very well.Vista 64 was a nightmare for me. |
