Default SDHC card

Hi all,
Quick question for the tech guru's....I have several ScanDisk 32gb cards that a friend in the wholesale electronics business gave me. I am backing up the tons of mods I have for SH3, sh4 and sh5 plus a couple other sims. I like the idea of using these over dvd's because of the small space they take up, however I don't know if they are as reliable as the DVD for long term storage?

Thanks

Nothing is reliable for long term storage, it all degrades over time and with little or no warning. The best you can do is multiple back-ups on different media.

Default Thought so

I had a feeling there really wasn't one better then the other....Guess I will back the files up on both media types to be safe.

Thanks
