I already bagged the Carrier but where are the Armored Merchants?

Search for Kylania's posts he found their spawn area. But the areas that I have the most success with is NW of Scotland

Also, if you're lazy and don't want to search

Head for Loch Ewe and that is where I think they should (if not all then the majority) of them will spawn.

Now this is odd. I restarted the campaign and now when I sink those Armored Merchants the game does not recognize them and the mission isn't won.

No offence, but are you are sinking the right ones.
Click the link in my post #4, go to 2nd page of thread and look at posts 20,21 & 22.
I played this part of mission quite a few times, till I figured out what I was doing wrong.
It's ship A you are after in this one.

Actually last night I did read the posts and I was sinking the wrong type. My bad. However, the stationary ones, even the right ones did not count. Only the ones sailing out of the port. This might be a cheat but I found out that if you sink one and save the game and go back another ship spawns. That way you can get all three without waiting.

Honestly i dont know why people cant do this. In every campaign ive played, ive been able to sink merchants and AMC in their harbor and have it count. maybe lite campaign could have something to do with it, orsomethings wrong here...

It counts as a kill but do not satisfy the parameters of the mission (speaking about stationary ships in port).
