3d and periscope display problems.

I absolutely love this game, but I took a break from it for a couple weeks, and then after running it again I had some problems. For some reason the 3d display is completely non-functional (the 3d options screen is blank and the display of platforms in the reference section is also blank). The periscope display is also dead, showing only a solid wall of hot pink through the scope at all times, both raised and lowered. Even worse, certain missions, particularly Seawolf missions, cause the game to crash when loading.

I have no clue what caused this, or how to fix it. I tried re-installing the program at twice and reset the only display settings I know of that had changed since I last played it. I can't find any reference to this anywhere online. If anybody has any idea I'd appreciate a response.
