Default Epic battleship group attack with friendly air cover

Mid 1943 USS Wahoo just a couple hundred miles north of Rabaul, I get a radio location of a task force. En route, I get another huge task force on radar. As I make an end around approach on the bigger task force, I come up to periscope and find out it's an American carrier group. Then I blow the tanks, fire the diesels and haul ass for the other task force. I make an approach from their forward starboard. As I close I have 3 Ise's and a Kongo, 2 tankers, a handful of light and heavy cruisers and 10 destroyers. I dive to 300, and use my perfect pitch sonarman to keep track. Back up to periscope 600 yards off the lead BB. Next as I'm looking around one of the tankers is on fire and I spot waves of friendly planes coming in. 3 fish to the 3rd BB 4 aft fish to the lead, then 3 forward fish to the 2nd BB. 10 hits in a row and all hell breaks loose.

to be continued...

... so I've got droves of friendly planes diving in through a hail of AA dropping bombs, scoring hits, getting shot down. I get all available hands reloading torpedoes for follow up shots. The first and third BB are going down, the second is limping. I get three more off on the last BB and 2 more toward the second. Six more hits! Now all of the BB's are sinking and I start firing 2 at a time at the cruisers. I sink another 2 cruisers and finish off the tankers before I'm all out of torpedoes, then I go to test depth and creep away unscathed. I come back up to periscope and spot red smoke. Off to rescue my very helpful buddies. Unfortunately the game wouldn't let me take on more than 3 pilots due to lack of bunks. There were a lot of pissed off DD's left over with not much to guard after it was all said and done though

I was at Guadualcanal the other day and there was a huge back and forth fight between allied and axis aircraft over the water with me in the middle. Fortunately I was in command of the USS IOWA at the time and shot down over 60 enemy planes out of the over 200. The planes came in waves begining at about 0800 and lasting until 2000.

I then had a ten Fubuki Task Force in the blackest night I have ever seen in SH4. We were about 500 yards in distance before they even saw me. I took three hits from the Fubuki torpedoes but managed to stay afloat zig zagging and firing until I had sank them all.
