Default Hey guys, whats the cost to build a good gaming rig these days??

I have the SH series (3, 4, and 5) and am using a Dell yadda yadda yadda lol but point is it barely runs Sh3, serious FPS issues when in harbours (I have GWX 3.0 and other mods enabled as well but even stock) and when ships are blowing up and such, but my friend can build me a gaming rig that could run crysis no problem and last time he said (over a year ago) it would be around $600 (thats about how much it cost him and his friend to build their own, 600 each) so my question for you all is how much now aday s would it cost to build a undeniably good gaming rig?? (good enough to run at least SH5 with NO fps drops in playability?? or at least moderate playability Im hoping for the $600 to $800 dollar range here

question though, are we talking about 1000 for a rig that can run crysis at max with no problems?? because as of right now, all I need is one that can run SH5 at max and MS Flight Sim X as max (since those are the two that I have that have the highest graphical requirements right now)

Id like to know around how much Itd cost to get one to run one of those games fine with no FPS issues.

Depends on what requirements you have, but I would say around 1000-1400$

FSX is a resource hog that is almost as demanding as Crysis...

Hmm.. wellll In that case, I may just end up upgrading the comp we have then with a new graphics card motherboard etc. because itll A be cheaper and B) right now I can run FSX with all medium /medium high settings and have almost no FPS drops, (Save for when Im at HIIIIGH altitude and I look down at the ground.. time to have my buddy come look at my computer and see what he can do. wish me luck guys

Although Im starting my new job and need to build a good credit rating so I may just buy a new really good gaming rig and pay it off instead . hmm

Assuming your monitor, keyboard and mouse are OK.

Yep. I could build a decent Game PC that will play SH5 and FSX above average for $500.00 - $600.00 easy

If you live in USA try TigerDirect .com.

Come back and show us what you found.
