Subsim Swap Shop
Right, who has stuff like graphics cards and RAM just sitting around gathering dust? Is it very obsolete (ie almost useless), or are you constantly upgrading but can't be bothered sticking it on ebay - all the time it's getting older and less valuable!
Who else out there has a PC that can run games, but just doesn't have enough oomph to make it properly enjoyable? Low FPS anyone? We've all been there, and most of us have at some point been too skint to fix it. Are you getting my drift yet folks? List what you've got spare, any takers PM you for it? RAM is really cheap to post to the other side of the world. Graphics cards are a bit more but if we can try and keep the heavier/larger items to your own domestic arena. The more people playing these games the better - so chip in, or request away (sensibly - we'd all like an i7 processor or GTX480, it ain't gonna happen!) So, good idea?

Nice idea, but my friends are already begging for my left-overs.
Maybe a 386DX, or a Comodore 64?

Say Kiwi, the 6200, 6600 and 7600 GS....are those the AGP or PCIe varieties? I know that the 9600XT is AGP flavored.

As a visitor for several weeks I loved Singapore, but then I didn't get roped up in the machinations and politics, I just went to work every day and then down to either Clarke or Boat Quay for the night . I don't think you'd want to particularly be British though.

I have two seagate IDE hard drivves, a 120gb and 80gb one, both in exellent condition. Allso have a non functional MSI K8n-SLI Platinum s939 motherboard, the processor power circuit on that one is gone, but may work if some of the components are replaced.
Allso have a fully functional Slot 1 pentium II 266mhz processor Edit: Someone showed interest in the HDD's, but sadly they turned out to be in less than full working order. Last edited by antikristuseke; 10-08-10 at 12:03 PM. |
