besides, look closely at the screenshots, partiuclarly the depth soundings. Gibralter harbor is not that deep, at least i dont think it is :hmm:

somwhere in the continental shelf? Those depth readings get real shallow quick

Nope.
Heres a BIG hint.

Its somewhere only an IX boat can realistically reach without the use of a milk cow and still return to port.

Well i did it in the 40s and what i saw similar was the harbor against the Mountains, i also got the Fidji and a Southampton light Cruiser. It took me a long time to sneak in always submerged at 2 knots to be in position when the sunrise came. the only ones who where around in the harbor where 2 Elcos and they didnt see me as my pery was mostly down.

Testing my PQ17 Mission MP with a friend...

Grave of the Revenge, in the bay of Loch Ewe... The funny thing: i was dissapointed because i foundnothing in Loch Ewe, so i turned bearing open atlantic... my sonarman told me about many many warship contacts... but i thought hes telling me about the 2-3 destroyers, guarding the bay entrance... suddenly i saw a huge warship group heading for loch ewe...

British Fighter goes down into the sea after surprising my exhausted boat and crew after a failed scapa flow raid... no more O² and battery battery -> flak manned...

A nice explosion...

Dusk...

Moonlight enlightens a Fjord on my way to Bergen, from a successful patrol...

Damage from a bomb explosion after beeing attacked by a Hurricane.

Another Hurricane...

"Oh say can you see?" :P

Destroyer east of scapa flow... they never know what hit em... huge explosion, broken back - all hands lost for sure.

mh...remebers me of "The Fog"

that was a few of my finest shots from sh3... erased alot because of bad quality (stock SH3=baaad textures)

This is the first mod where it seems like we're actually surfing up and down:

Escaping the pounding...

Running with decks awash...

Rare color photo of U-31 departing Wilhemshaven taken by an unknown sailor of a Swedish tanker. U-31 was sunk two days later.

Outstanding!

Normally I drop the pictures when I quote someone, but this had to be referred back to. Love it!
