Beriev VVA-14 Soviet Ground Effect Subhunter
You might have seen this pic of the sad carcass of something that looks to be left over from a Star Wars movie and, like me, you might have wondered just what the heck it was. I found this short documentary quite by accident but it answers the question in full. And the prospect of a 5000-ton airborne aircraft carrier... well!!

I couldn't get to see or near it when I went to monino nor could I get any clear shots of it with the camera some twonk parked an AN22 in the way
