I would like to make two suggestions:
1. Change the edit boxes so that your url tags don't resolve. That is to say, {url=http://www.something.com}Something!{/url} stays in code form and does not resolve to it's final post appearance. This facilitates editing. I can understand the functionality of it's current form, but more often than not, I need to see the actual http link instead of the resolve text. 2. Please don't resolve {img} tags. I am unable to actually delete an image tag once it's been placed, other than canceling the post. If I was editing a post where I had already accidently placed some 2MB animated .gif, I don't know how I'd be able to get rid of it. I know it's the poster's responsibility to check file sizes before linking stuff, but copy-n-paste accidents do occur. Disabling the {img} tag altogether might be the easiest way to go about it, but would still be preferable to future spamers. Last edited by tycho102; 06-20-06 at 01:51 PM. |
