-Deep encounter of the third kind-

Torpedo fired from close range in dense fog, so close I almost rammed her going underneath. I then raced her to the bottom hoping to meet up down below. I got a good head start so I made it deep before we met. I don't remember the exact depth, but it was deep enough to ensure that light conditions sucked so I was forced to use Photoshop to bring out the details. Then I thought why not mess with it some more, and, well, blue:

That picture is quite evocative, with the target burning in the background. I like it!

Good job Chopped and nice screen.

How come whenever I take screens my game freezes for about 5 minutes or crashes? The screens get taken I think but it's really annoying and dont say its your computer because I've got a pretty good one that SH4 runs great on except for screens. And also where the hell do screen shots save to? lol I cant seem to find them anywhere

I love the logs especially the ones in good ol' military format. Shame not many of them though....

There is a folder in your "My documents" called SH4, in there you will find a folder called pictures I think.

On the crash thing: I don't know what it could be, but for me the Ctrl+F11 method doesn't work so I have to use the traditional Alt+Prt Scr, then exit and paste it into MSpaint or something. Anyway to the point: I had to enable windowed mode because it crashed every time I tried to get back, so even though your problem seem to be of a different nature I suggest you try ticking windowed mode if you haven't already. Note it isn't windowed mode in its traditional Windows sense. It still takes up the full screen. At least I'm sure it will look the same as full screen mode if your game and desktop resolution match. The only downsides I guess is that I've read that your resolution options are limited in windowed mode, but I've haven't been bothered by it personally. Logically I can't see the connection to your crash, but in my experience I get less crash to desktop in general when in windowed mode, so maybe try windowed.....?

Actually, they are located at the root of your SH4 install folder as *.BMP files. (i.e. C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter Wolves of the Pacific\*.bmp)
