Pretty good film if you are a PTO buff Tora!Tora!Tora!. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0066473/

Not to be confused with Torah,Torah,Torah an episode of Magnum P.I. in which a rabbis torah is stolen. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0639758/

Saw the new Transformers the other night. It was exactly what I had hoped for. A very well done sequel. The new characters and story are great.

Also, out of what i've watched recently....

Bridesmaids - Got sucked into watching it with a group. I didn't want to watch it. Really wasn't a good movie. Was not funny and not worth it.

Borat - One of the funniest movies i've seen ever. Brilliant.

We are watching Frozen for the 67,593rd time...... We have the 2 year old granddaughter over this weekend,

It is a pretty entertaining cartoon. If you have to watch something over and over and over with a 2 year old, Frozen ain't too bad.

At least we get to see her try to sing along.

I've managed to keep from watching it thus far. It's surprising and horrifying how many guys my age who love that movie. It's not okay.

There was one day....an 18 year old boy is sitting in a parking lot in an F-150 just blaring that song and singing along.

I had somebody I know explain what GoT was all about one time. Sounds like it'd be pretty cool. I've only ever seen one episode of it though and it was somewhere in the middle of either S2 or S3.

I don't have HBO at home...but maybe I can find a way to watch another episode or two.

Unfortunately, like a lot of modern shows, each season of Game of Thrones is based on a book, and it needs to be watched in order from the beginning; otherwise it makes no sense.

You could always buy it on disc.

Yeah, none of the characters stuck out or seemingly did anything important...but only because I don't know them.

I'm considering that or going to Hastings and renting Season 1. I forget how much it is to rent a season of a TV show over there...

Well not being an American I have absolutely no idea of rental charges but I'm confident it will be worth the price.

Do movie rentals not exist in the UK?

EDIT: Hastings doesn't have rental rates on their website...but to buy Season 1 it's about 40-45$ on sale.

Oh yes, movie rentals exist in the UK.

If you go on Amazon UK season one is £16, seasons 1-3 about £42 and season 4 is a little pricey atm £28.50.

Having watched them all I'd say they are well worth purchasing.
