Die Welt writes:
------------------------ According to initial estimates by the US pharmaceutical manufacturer, the newly developed Covid pill from Pfizer is also effective against the new Omikron variant of the coronavirus. The preliminary results of a study with 2250 test subjects also confirmed the first promising findings on the effectiveness of the preparation, announced Pfizer. If the tablet was taken shortly after the first Covid 19 symptoms appeared, this reduced the likelihood of a severe or fatal course by 89 percent among high-risk patients. In the US, there will soon be a decision on whether the Pfizer pill and that of the competing company Merck will be approved. Americans could then get the drug from the pharmacy and take it at home. Both Pfizer and Merck tested their tablets on unvaccinated adults with risk factors such as obesity or asthma. Pfizer also gave its pill to non-risk patients - including those who were vaccinated. In this group, 1 percent of the subjects had to be hospitalized after an infection. Of those who received a placebo, it was 2.4 percent. Experts had expected that the Pfizer pill would also work with Omikron, as it does not attack the spike protein on which most of the mutations in the new variant are located. ----------------

The Saxons have established a reputation to be extremely anti-vacc and far right leaning, also the Reichsbürger are strong here, and general democracy and state scepticism.
The sign reads "Welcome to the free state of Saxony: We are not all like that".

Bad news for the booster campaign in Germany. The reason: serious shortage of vaccines. According to "Spiegel" information, the new health minister Karl Lauterbach is said to have informed the health ministers of the federal states about this at today's ministerial conference. "Far too little vaccine was bought for the entire first quarter. The quantities are not enough to drive the booster vaccination campaign," said Lauterbach accordingly. An improvement is also not to be expected so quickly: "In the important month of the booster campaign, the vaccine is missing. And the situation is no better in February and March."
The situation is "extremely difficult," he is also quoted as saying. "I always praised my predecessor. But we have a serious shortage of vaccines in the coming year. That is the result of our inventory." According to the health minister, there were only 1.2 million and 0.8 million doses from Biontech in the last two weeks of this year. In the first week of January, only 1.2 million cans would be added. This will reduce the number of vaccine doses to one sixth compared to before. Moderna could at least deliver 10 million booster cans per week. In the second, third and fourth week of January there will be a total of only 3.6 million booster doses per week, "Spiegel" continues to quote Lauterbach. Lauterbach promised the health ministers, who were shocked according to "Spiegel", that he would now personally take care of contact with Biontech and Moderna and other countries as well, in order to organize vaccines. --------------------- Too little, too late, dodging. Too little, too late, dodging. The now gone old health minister Jens Spahn stayed loyal to his motto until the bitter end. Be late, then do too little, and dodge the fallout.

So, that website claims that another website is right-leaning. So what? That is a form of the "argument from authority" fallacy. It doesn't really matter who said it if it is true. And who made "mediabiasfactcheck" the arbiter of who is who and who is correct? Sites like this, including Snopes and Politifact, have gotten their own fair share of criticism for being biased themselves. It doesn't even matter, anyway. The link I provided is just one of many reporting on the story - and not only in NZ. All you have to do is search the topic for yourself.

^ The core of this story may be true, but does that really mean that all counted covid deaths are untrue, because they found this one person?
This is picking out one fact and blowing it up out of proportion, something that has become mainstream in the last five years to "prove" one's opinion. I don't buy it, especially not from this website.

^ Right. Everyone lives in his own world of opinion, looking for evidence to only support his own point of view. This is what they call the filter bubble.
So we see one isolated case, blow it out of proportion and argue this is true for all? You have to admit that numbers do play a role. Picking out exemptions and outliers you just picked because they support your opinion have not the same 'value' if you know what i mean. The real facts do not care about opinions. You can demonstrate against the corona virus, what do you think where this gets you.
