Thanks Vendor
The next one seems to me like an old song from Manfred Mann "I live in the back..": That's not "One night in Bangkok", it is another stormy night in the northern atlantic: If vou don't see anything - that's realism. Greetings rowi58 |

Nice pictures This one for Gargamel and his addiction to the 105mm deck gun! 1. What would have the men from the merchant seen 2. View from the U-110 Last edited by VONHARRIS; 01-02-11 at 03:30 AM. |

Hey!
LOL I love the deck gun for unarmed merchys, not DD's. Go ask Missing Name about the Deck Gun obsession, I hear he sleeps with one. |

This is from my current patrol. Check the number of torpedoes left and the ships that are sunk. I think that you get the message! @WoflyBrabton Nice set of pictures. I have one objection though : You shouldn't dive flying your flag. In fact U boats didn't show any flag during combat patrols. |

Damn passenger/cargoes. It took about 50 105mm rounds to finally confirm it was going down. It exploded and broke in two a minute later.

He's right, though. They took the flag down the minute they left friendly territory. If you had to crash dive you wouldn't have time to have somebody run back and unclip the flag, and carry it below, which would have been disrespectful. So they never flew it where there was the remotest chance of combat.

But they should have known better than have a whole bunch of capital ships in one place...
