There goes the HMS Nelson. (4th time I've sunk it this career). It was in the center of a convoy. I destroyed her engines and waited for the escorts to give up chasing me. My radio and FlaK were destroyed by DC's, so I headed home. The Nelson and Cyclops collier made a good haul, though.

Fourth war patrol of U 100, 7-11 Nov.1940
Leaving Lorient on westerly heading and high speed:
In three runs, U 100 sinks 8 merchant ships from convoy OA-234: After two submerged day time and dusk attacks, U 100 launches its third attack surfaced at night: After this convoy battle, the british suspended the OA-convoys - "Golden Days" for the U-Boats:
