OK i have mod installed and got the paths correct for the Optoins program..it sure looks great, covered all the bases..

there are so many choices... are there defaults set? i am just not at all sure i can figure out what to set...

thanks..

ah C, E and Q are the hot keys for Default SHV Enhanced Heading dial. was looking for them.

Is there a list of hot keys anywhere/

You see that hud down the bottom with the degrees on it . There is a red square in the middle . Click on the red square to bring the compass up .

Default Wolfpack AI Subs

I am using NewUIs_TDC_6_9_0

Shadowed a convoy sneding contact report every two hours for about six hours (game time) and a Wolfpach showed up.

I noticed that when the AI Subs submerged they were running at depth around 10 meters with Attack Periscope fully raised stick 5+ meter above water.
I check AI Submarine CFG files and PeriscopeDepth=12 and SnorkelDepth=10.
These CFG files are installed by NewUIs_TDC_6_9_0.
Is there a reason why they are running so shallow?

Also, every time an AI Submarine surfaced or submerged, my Chief Engineer would shout out about shutting down deisel engines and recharging batteries. This was freaking me out because I thought I had surface in the middle of a convoy with large number of escorts.

AI Submarine Deck Gun"
I have tried several times to make a AI Deck Gun that does not require crew with NO success.
Would it be easier to add Crew Members to AI Submarine to man these positions? May include Control Room Interior on AI Submarines as Crew Place Holder.
Or maybe replace Deck Gun with Hinged Snorkel.

I have a weird problem running NewUIs_TDC_6_9_0_ByTheDarkWraith . This is the only mod I installed via JGSME. When I first start a campaign I see the message box in the center of the screen with a heading "OK" and with "OK" in both left and right boxes and buttons "Clear", "Cancel", "OK" at bottom.

Sorry, can't attach a screen shot as neither PRT Screen or any other software cannot make a copy of the screen from the game.

Any idea why this is happening?

options file is either corrupt or you're not patch to v1.2 of the game.

When you start the game and you are in the main menu screen, what does it say in the upper right of the game? v1.2?

Are you using Steam version of game?

Just want to say thank you for putting this outstanding mod together! I'm new to the SH series and this mod has made this sim very authentic. Maybe one day I can hit a target outside of 1,000M as there is much to learn. All the best to you!

try removing the Russian localization and see if you get the same errors

How do I remove the expansion of the compass in the UI SH5 interface? The expanded compass takes up too much space, I think. Thanks

Du vet den lilla SH3 kompassen i det vänsta hörnet som dyker upp när du klickar i "kompass" fältet längst nere till vänster.
