I was patrolling Norwegian waters, and suddenly Bernard pokes my shoulder:

. What's the fishing/whaling methods of these reindeerbreeders concern us? "Save your Greenpeaze Nonzenze und Keep lookin' out vor threatz", I snap at the moron.

He fails to explain... Just points towards the closing fishing boats in the fjord. To my horror, I realize what he means

No worries, it turns out that the local Luftwaffe captain is a long-time member of PETA, and he quickly dispatches nan attack force of three Stukas and a Ju-88 to bomb the poor little boats to Whaler's Heaven (no, I did not script that in, the AI took the initiative).

Just some more fun with modding EQP files. To my dismay, the fishing boats didn't fire their K-Guns even when I was submerged with my masts up close enough for them to easily spot me. I guess Norwegian fishermen aren't frequently drilled on the use of K-Guns anyhow.

Bernard was land-locked for awhile pending a review of his last patrol. To pass the time he voluntered for maintenance duty.

However, when the crew of U-178 left for their next patrol they realised Bernard forgot a major part........
