Oberon has been acting very strangely to say the least and locking himself in the rescue sub could have a hidden meaning or bluff.

I vote for Oberon.

*TarJak stretches and wakes to the sound of muttering and general weird behaviour by Oberon.*

"Jim I think he is in need of isolation and disarming him of that knife. Any chance we can stick him in the brig?"

*Goes back over to his laptop to check on the results of last nights testing.*

"Looks like we have another human!"

*Begins working on setting up the next sample for testing.*

"BTW anyone who didn't voluntarily give a sample has now been taken whilst you were asleep. Sorry about the invasion of privacy gents but under the circumstances I think it was justified."

Oberon's behaviour has become increasing erattic. I say we put him in the brig, shackled so he can't harm the others in there.

*Wakes up after a long nights sleep and reaches for his thermos*

"Damn, what time is it??

*Hears that SandyCaesar is dead.*

"Bloody he** we are running out of people. I guess now we know at least one sitting in the brig is most likely human. I wonder what TarJak has found out... Well maybe well have better luck getting the rescue sub to work today....but somehow I don't think that will be the case"

*Goes to the bar to get something to eat*

*Oberon stabs a piece of fish on his plate with his knife and then eats it.*

Night 8
Lights Off

On, Off, On Off the light cycle continues.

Oberon waits patiently in the rescue sub for the lynch mob that he knows will
come for him. Indeed, they do. Nokia, Nisgeis, Tarjak and Jimbuna enter the
rescue sub. After a brief struggle the executioners do their work and another
body is piled upon the heap that is already spreading a foul stench throughout
the sub.
Jimbuna did not signal to send him to the brig.

*Pacing angrily, casting occassional glances at the handful of survivors. Finally, he speaks*


Would someone like to explain to me why there is a dead Oberon on this vessel? Anyone? I mean, there shouldn't be one, but there is. Anyone want to shed some light on that subject? I really need help understanding WHY PEOPLE INSIST ON MUCKING UP EVERYTHING!!!!!
*sighs, regains composure, and continues*
Now, I can understand why some of you voted as you did. There were a few communications mix-ups, and things got out of hand. No problem.
What I do have a problem with is the spontaneous decision to kill a crewman that no one was told to kill.
There seems to be a misunderstanding here, so I will attempt to clarify it right now. When the investigation fell on Silveraptor, there was a good reason for it. When we voted to lynch JALU3, there was also a good reason for it. And when we say "put Tarrasque in the brig", there is a good reason for it. Some of you seem to be under the impression that our decisions are open to interpretation. They are not. When I come forward as the public face of the investigation, and cast the first vote, to put Tarrasque in the brig, IT DOES NOT MEAN KILL OBERON!!!!! WHEN WE SAY ABSTAIN, IT DOES NOT MEAN LYNCH WHOEVER YOU FEEL LIKE LYNCHING!!!!
*places two fingers at his temple*
I have had it up to here with all the nonsensical crap that goes on on this boat! I swear to God if it isn't cockamamie seawater tests it's worthless hearsay or deceptive voting or some other assorted garbage! We have wasted more than enough time and lives because people continue to hinder our efforts.

So here's how we're going to do this from now on. In the morning, I am going to cast my vote, on behalf of what is left of the investigation, and then you are all going to vote the same way, unless you hear otherwise, from me. If I say put them in the brig, Jimbuna is going to put them,*gasp*, in the brig!
If I die tonight, Tarjak is going to do what I would have done, and you will vote the way he does. If Tarjak dies, the next one in line will step up, and so on and so forth.

Now, for those of you who are not a part of the investigation, I am sorry that you don't get much of a say in the ultimate decisionmaking process.
You can indirectly be a part of it, by contacting me if you find anything suspicious or have any thoughts, but that is pretty much it.
Since you didn't go to the trouble to assemble a proper investigative team that doesn't go around killing people at random, you can help the most by helping the only one that does exsist.

Day 9
Lights On
In the night clear, sharp hammering is heard on the side of the hull as well as
the propellers above. Two gunshots where also heard from inside the sub
during the night.

Every one turns up for roll call.

[TarJak]

"WTF was all that noise last night?"

*awakes after hardly any sleep at all, both due to the hammering and vexation over Oberon's death. As he storms to the bar area, he forcefully tells each person he meets.....*

"NO votes! No freaking votes until I vote! Then you copy that vote!"

*upon reaching the bar, he sits down heavily, pours a cup of bug juice and gulps it down. He places his head in his hands and remains motionless for a few moments before he sits up with a start, and sets off to find something suitable to tap against the hull*

[Tarrasque]

*Tarrasque sees the light go on but can't be bothered to stir from his bunk*

I will be busy in the sub all day, so will miss all the morning discussion and voting. Therefore put me down for a double Abstaintion

*Walks into the bar*

"What was all that hammering and propeller noises last night all about. It's hard enough to get some sleep without the noises."

*Gets coffee and sits down at a table.*

"Well at least we all survived the night. Hopefully we will end this soon."

*Takes out the P8 and two 9mm rounds from his pocket and puts them into the magazine and load it back in the gun.*

"Great thing this pistol, I never go anywhere without it, I got it back in the day when I was in the KSK when I left I got to keep it. And it sure has saved my life many times after that."

*Finishes the coffee and goes to the rescue sub.*
