Middle of nowhere means more than a 20min drive to a large town

And I'm only half an hour drive to the capital and 2 hour drive to the coast.
Ljubljana is not a boring place. Like a scale model version of London or New York. I'm just not in the mood for going out.

I'm about 7-8 from the nearest town, 15 from the nearest 'big' town, but getting back a little worse for wear in the small hours of the morning is nigh on impossible, and certainly not cheap.

A good job then that my village has two pubs, a chippy, pizza/kebab shop, and a chinese take-a-way.

Not that I ever visit them.
