One does not have to believe to find happiness within. Don't dismiss those who don't as shallow.

And, happy Easter.

Beg pardon. Didn't intend to dismiss those who don't believe as shallow. Did say, and did mean, that those who seek satisfaction in material goods may find themselves unsatisfied. But materialism is itself a belief system.

Yes, Happy Easter.

As far as Zombie Awarreness Day, that reminds me that Walking Dead is on tonight.

I just finished watching an interesting movie: From the Manger to the Cross, a silent movie made in 1912.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0002199/?ref_=fn_al_tt_2

It's a pretty good movie considering when it was released. At 82 minutes it qualifies as feature-length. The scenes are presented as tableaux; there is an introduction card with an explanation and the Gospel reference, then the whole scene is played out with no dialogue cards. My only complaint would be the music. One IMDB reviewer talks about the 1994 organ score. The version they showed on Amazon had a bouncy orchestra score that hardly fit the proceedings.

Not perfect by a long shot, and not nearly as good as the 1927 silent King of Kings, but I don't consider my hour and twenty-two minutes wasted.

That's my same thought. Since I do believe that the man did exist, even if I dont believe in the religion grown around him. I found a week ago a BBC documentary that Christ might have been a budhist monk and even the dalailama. Some nice evidence for the theory but nothing conclusive

I'm betting that several people are going to get keelhauled, and this thread's going to get locked due to that post.

Like who, for example? I can't believe anyone would start flame war over so lame comment with no original thought whatsoever involved.
