The iPhone is probably the best thing out there, for all the apps and support.

Android comes a very close second. First in my opinion

Just got one, Palm Pre. Will take a little getting used to, but so far I am liking it. Nice thing is I have a 30 day " try and buy " option.

Like the various apps that come with it. Easy to touch zoom in and out stuff, screen size is decent. Battery life does not seem to be that great and the touch stuff does take some getting used to.

Anyway, will keep playing around with the thing and will decide later if I want to keep it.

I've been using the Samsing i780 smartphone for a while now and am pretty happy with it. The only thing that's utterly useless is the screen once you go outside. Shine a little (sun)light on it and you'll be frowning for a week trying to read what's on it. I reckon it has something to do with it being a early generation touch-screen but still, you'd expect more or better from a brand like that.

Other than that it's my best phone yet.

An all black Nokia 5000, I know the one in the picture is a green one.

I bought it under the false pretense that it could launch North Korea nukes remotely .

Almost everyone I know is using Blackberry here. I HATE Blackberry. . If you think Blackberries are cool have you ever imagined what it looks like talking on one of those bigger calculator....exactly silly isn't it?

I like it slim, simple and deadly...thinking to coat my cell with an ancient Mayan poison.

Bye bye to the old pos, the E66 is now back from the repairshop. A good, solid phone with the shell made out of some kind of metal. Too bad the display wasn't

I`m using a good old Nokia N73 music editions. Almost 3 years old, still works like a charme.

Although on maps they look as if they are the same, roads and rivers drive very differently, Neal. Use blue glasses to filter rivers out when planning your next tour.

I use the LG enV Touch.

I love some things about it: the expandable memory, the 3.5mm headphone jack, the full keyboard, its ability to play youtube videos (and almost any video format for that matter). And the touch screen is nice and looks very crisp and classy.

The software is iffy at best though. It resets my screen settings every once in a while, opens to a completely black screen or one with different colored bars all over it.

Other than those shortcomings, I like it a lot.

Well, I rather like it for a number of reasons. Like my lying in bed, right now.

Yep

I have HTC Hero, with a whole range on apps (all free so far), such as:

Advance Task Killer - kills tasks to free memory
Pkt Auctions Ebay - self explanatory!
Metal Detector - handy this, used it to find rotory airer ground spike after winter
Google Sky Maps - impresses the kids pointing out Venus and Mars when visible
F1 Racing - for when I'm not near a TV during a race, lap by lap updates
Buienradar.nl - weather pics (IR satellite, wx radar) with updated every 30 mins

Pretty much anything you want is available. I love getting my android out while my mates have broken iPhones (all too often).

Still waiting for a subsim app, but can use it for the forum anyway.

Don't have a smartphone just yet, but as our contract is up (and I'm tired of living in 2004 with our RAZRs), I'm trying to persuade my dad to spring for smartphones this time around. We're not locked into any particular cell provider, so we're currently looking at:

HTC EVO 4G from Sprint
HTC Incredible from Verizon
Apple iPhone from AT&T

Personally, I'll be happy with any of the above.
