I wonder if planes can see you at periscope depth?

Default Where did he go,where did he go?

I'm sure they had some snide remarks about my sub but I just took it with a grain of salt and sat real still at 170 ft. Hey, I was out of torps.

Not this DD in post #352 although maybe they were looking for me but I was about four thousand yards behind him and 170ft deep under the "Thermal Layer". Two of his buddies were very near me except him. I seen him take off to this lifeboat from their DD I torpedoed. So I'm not sure if its even scripted in the Sim for the AI to pick up their own or the fact that he ( DD ) may have been looking for me. But still I would think the Japanese Skipper would pick up is fellow men instead of letting them drown and they would in due time. I won't call it a bug though, I just was curious when I saw him take off toward them like he did at about 25 kts but he did slow just before the first picture to about 15 kts. While passing the life boat he never did slow down anymore, in fact the DD went another 3nm ( I measured this ) before turning around then really did a bypass of the lifeboat and returned to the area where I was. In fact it is the DD pictured at the top of post #353 with the caption 'He ain't over here.'
Of all the quirks in this Sim there is still a lot of fantasic work the Devs did ( even if I do mumble and wine about the bugs ).

Got tired of that so gave him another torp to chew on. BLOOEY!!
