^ worse yet: in late 1977, in my Freightliner, headed south along the Mighty Mississippi in Missouri to Texas I ran smack-dab into that year's ever shifting Central migratory-Geese route and was literally crawling along(5mph) in the midst of the gazillions of geese who feed on the rice and grain that grows along the waterways! My co-driver and I were unpleasantly amazed at the effrontery of these foul fowls obeying the first rule of nature: what goes in must come out (all over the pavement) and out-honkin' my airhorn to boot!

This shot doesn't really do justice to the whole mess!
