A stuka attack SAVED me from two harassing destroyers that caught me in shallow water. I had just interdicted a task force _as_ it attacked an Italian convoy!!! It crazy dramatic:

The stukas made three runs. They sunk one of my attackers and damaged his friend. Yet still, with burn marks and missing rear DC rack, the surviving DD managed to harass me into the night. Eventually I had to rush back to PD, amid savage DC runs, to settle the issue. I missed with the rear torp, but scored with a zero gyro T1 - mag pistol. He went down. I surfaced. It was...glorious.

The Allies _ravage_ an italian convoy:

All the merchant ships were sunk. No allied bombers were shot down, despite clouds of flak, bursting staccato like drumfire. I was safely at 60m....

The Med is a madhouse early in the war. After 1943 it's a greaveyard

Yea - i hear it - i started my career in June '43 - this is patrol 2, so it must be like july or august. I'm starting to feel it. My RWR is chirping like crazy. Lot of close calls.

Darn those Allies.... Well, they didn't have so much luck this one - Italian Vittorio Venetto and Luigi di Savoia Duca degli Abruzzi (god, that's a mouthfull) with U-134 and an escort of six Soldati class in a show of force off Malta...

Just another random encounter in 1942 GWX - those beasts are hard to keep up with!

7 Wellingtons and two Sunderlands came on and on

But they all fell easy prey to the massive firepower...

Just thought you may want to hear a good story for once...
