And You know that the new infection numbers have followed that pattern for a couple of weeks now. Low values on Mondays (reduced numbers of tests during the weekend), a slight increase from day to day till Friday, followed by a sharp decrease again. Exactly the same pattern week after week, with the rolling average showing a slight decrease since April 15th.

Todays R values: R(old) = 0.88; R(7days/new) = 0.87

Consider this: the actual probability is there are more deaths than have actually been reported since there are strong indications Covid-19 has been in the US earlier than originally suspected and many deaths in the earlier time period attributed to other causes may have been, in fact, directly related to Covid-19 or precipitated by the virus...


BTW, shouldn't the virus crisis already be over? Didn't the "highly stable genius" declare the virus would be gone by May 15th? I'm looking at the calendar and its 20 May and people are still getting sick and people are still dying. I guess he was wrong...

...like he is and has been about so many, many things...

Over 600 doctors signed a letter urging President Trump to end the nationwide coronavirus shutdowns and referred to orders issued by states keeping businesses closed as a “mass casualty incident” with devastating consequences.
The letter points out the negative consequences that doctors have observed since state governments started issuing their stay-at-home orders, including patients missing checkups with doctors, increases in substance abuse and alcohol abuse, and negative financial implications, according to Fox News.
"We are alarmed at what appears to be the lack of consideration for the future health of our patients," the letter said. "The downstream health effects ... are being massively under-estimated and under-reported. This is an order of magnitude error."
“In medical terms, the shutdown was a mass casualty incident,” the letter continued. "The millions of casualties of a continued shutdown will be hiding in plain sight, but they will be called alcoholism, homelessness, suicide, heart attack, stroke, or kidney failure. In youths it will be called financial instability, unemployment, despair, drug addiction, unplanned pregnancies, poverty, and abuse.”

Its sort of like taking the advice of a chiropractor in treating a cardiac condition, or seeking the counsel of a dentist to treat a serious viral infection; just because they have M.D. after their name, it doesn't mean they are the right or qualified M.D. to treat your severe diseases...
