The fish were not biting very well today...and the catch was meager.

It is approaching night and another full moon approaches. A guardian is dead, and for what? Who was the first to decide Contact would be the first to die? Was it for a reason?

These soldiers and sailors do not understand our simple life...a life where we had lived for many years without fear and without death from the beast. And now, the Germans have brought in both soldiers and sailors from their own land and the killing starts all over again.

I try to tell them but they do not listen...and we will all pay.

I will have to get to sleep soon...sleep that will be interrupted again for the first time in years by horrible dreams. But I am not afraid for I know that unless I get up before dawn and go to sea in my small boat, there will be no fish to eat and they not be happy.

The lowly life of the fisherman...

After replying the telegraph message , I found myself thinking on it...

Those Stupid German sailors...could not find a small boat passing them within 10 meters...parking his boat 20 meters away...how do they expect to find a merchant ship and sink it. They were all asleep and snoring loudly.

What is bothering me now is that JCWolf and his rantings. He cannot remember some of his watch...he gets itchy...he has strange drawings...and the fish he took from me he ate raw...

Perhaps if the hair on the back of my neck was not standing up every time I see him...
