Cup of black coffee no sugar for lunch and cucumber and tuna for tea. Relaxing day listening to the radio most part.

Soon as I finish my coffee I'm getting in the pool.

In complete contrast to that, I just went out on the bike; there's no breeze but the air is still freezing. Lots of fieldfares in a hawthorn bush, near to the RSPB reserve entrance.

How I imagined you on your bike:

Looking at the way the thread is developing and wondering if it is too much to ask that people stay on topic and use the PM function if the continual and now predictable post for post replies are going to continue.

Went out for a walk this morning and I noticed something very odd. It was freezing cold, wow I nearly forgot we had winters after last winter of 15/16 which was nothing more than extended Autumn/Spring. Question is this just a blip?

Same here, but in a good way. Last winter was relatively mild, but this month we've had several nice snowfalls. There's about six inches (150 cm) on the ground right now, and skies are overcast looking for more. I'm not complaining. I grew up in southern California, and the snow is one of reasons I've stayed here my whole life.

Sorry Steve but that was a 'predictable post for post response'; now prohibited! Lets go with ....Unpredictable shall we as per Jimbuna's exceedingly reasonable request! Actually having to cover the wife's car to prevent frost build-up in 32 degree weather this AM in Napa CA! myself. Having escaped the frigid wasteland of Minnesota and driven 18-wheelers in Iowa I-80 blizzards and icy Donner or Parley's Pass (Utah) both over 7000 ft elevation... I don't miss snow one bit! I do miss taking a sauna and jumping (starkers) in a snowbank though!

The thread is 'What Are You Doing Now In Real Life'. Steed talked about going for a walk and noticing it was freezing cold. I commented that it's snowing here, and that I was enjoying the snow. How exactly is that off-topic?
