The crew have good vision alright . I don't know how to fix that . On a dark night I have been within 250 mts of a merchant at decks awash and he hasn't spotted me . With moon light mod that's a different story . Be very scared at night and never get yourself between the moon and an enemy where the moonlight will shine on your sub and give away your position . Get a camo skin on the sub as soon as you can get it . The dark colors help at night . Shift + B to bring up the blackboard .

I really need to define a new parameter for the \data\Cfg\Sensors.cfg file:
Visual Night Sensitivity Factor=0.3

This way we can use that file to set the new night parameter for the crew

Ok thx. Seem like things maybe get some adjustment too.. I was just afraid that a potential enemy destroyer could spot just as well as my crew and me in person the only one with limitations cause of this much more realistic nightvision(subsequently a false sense of security). IT IS realistic. I took my boat over the ocean for winterstorage 2 yrs ago in october(Skagerak). it was DARK! lol
Initially I thought moonlight mod was an eyecandy. Good to hear it works realistic

The amount of available light (be it sun or moon) and where the unit is in relation to that light is a big factor in the game's calculation of whether a unit detected another one with a visual sensor.

Thx guys. I didn t realize that the factor was so huge. Anyway I like to adjust my light so that my vision is somewhat similar to the AI.

Hi Sjizzle,

I've never had problems like that with Sober's mod list

How much RAM have you got?

Graphics Board?
Graphics setting ingame?

Lots of crap software running in the background?
