And with that all done, now I just have to find a taxi for the poor sod whose taxi our General Manager, in a fit of drunken insightfulness, turned away last night...leaving four staff from another hotel stuck here, with one of them due to start work at 8am this morning.

Good game...good game...

Excellent, taxi sorted, papers delivered (two Daily Fails ) and last little odd jobs done. Now I just have to wait thirty minutes or so until the morning receptionist arrives and then I can go home and SLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!!

Ironically that was what the morning receptionist suggested when I told her the amount of large hangovers that would be being nursed this morning.

I remember that when I had Fiat Seicento, I had a better visibility before wiping the windshield than after. Never wanted to spend these 3 Euro for a new "gum".

Yes I always wait till all they do is smear the screen, they may be only a few dollars but always very low on the list of priorities, as Pa Kettle said "I must fix that one of these days"

I want to keep a sharp eye on those 'idiots' I'm about to slam into!

I'm one of those deadly people with an old truck, insurance, and no remorse for the stupid who are at fault!
High School kids driveing Mom and Dads car are prime Bogies.

Good lord Reece where did you ever come up with that.
I'm old, very old but I barely remember that one.
A very funny movie for me at 10 or so years.

Meh, if it starts to gouge the glass, or starts to make an unbearable screeching noise then it's time to buy some new wipers!

The whole country shook, telefone lines were cut off, infrastructure destroyed and all public communication means were destroyed. You guessed it, Slovenia had another major earthquake exercise.
600 amatuer radio operaters, all ordinary citizens, participated in a nation wide exercise where they used their own radio's to augment the civil protection in coordination and information of rescue services.
Too bad I don't own a ham radio, sounds like they had fun

Just wanted to share a good idea, now lets get back to window wippers
