Happy New Year !
I just started a new camapign and did chose the "Coastal Waters" mission. If i'm correct, the target tonnage was raised to 70.000 tons and the finish date is now December 1st 1939. As it's already September '39 and with that high tonnage, it seems very unrealistic imho. Is there any way i can change it or any compatible mod to lower the tonnage target ? thanks guys |

thats one of the arcade-features of this game...far too high tonnage targets. normally this data is stored in the "main.cfg".

You can change it in ME2 then restart your campaign.
Open ME2 (main sh5 folder) and open project. Pick TotalGermany from C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\data\Campaigns\CampaignProjects It will then load all the layers in that campaign - it will look scary but don't be put off Next click on the campaign tab at the top of screen and select edit campaign. A new window will open. look for the one - EASTERN BRITISH COASTAL WATERS You will see under "Persistent objectives" a line saying "Sink_70,000_tons_on_the_British_Eastern_Coast " Click on that line and to the right the window will show you the mission name and description. Change both of these to your new tonnage. Next click on the line below called - Amount (70,000) Again more info will show in the window to the right. click on the 70,000 and change it to what you want. Next close this small window and select file tab from the main ME2 screen. click save project. Start new career Quote:

Thank you guys, you're fast as lightning...
I've found two mods but are they compatible ? 1) "Reduced Tonnage Mod" 2) "Light Campaign" |

Ok, i now did it like Travally recommended, so all other data, that was changed by OH II and other mods, shouldn't be affected. It was really easy. Now i hope it works ! I just can't really enjoy the game in a realistic manner, if i always have to check my tonnage or number of ships sunk.
Thanky you and best regards! |
