I hope it's not gonna be another Arcade style game. I sure miss first person view attending the various stations like in DW.

I think you're going to be disappointed, then. This one looks to be more like Fleet Command and Cold Waters. You're commanding a ship or fleet vs. manning all the stations and filling in for the whole crew.

Excellent! I still have a bunch of their games on 3.5 floppies! M1Tank platoonII, Gunship, Gunship 2000 and a few more. Microprose was the best thing to happen to fledgling computers. Even other games on 5.25 floppies!

Absolutely. I spent many happy hours on this. Imagine what it'd look like today with modern graphic cards and processors

I am beyond excited about this one. I played the B-17 The Mighty Eighth (came out in 2000 or 2001 I believe) for a long time. With modern graphics, improvements, the B-24 etc should be a blast. Still have it and the book put up in storage. This will prob take me away from SH 4 for a time, as long as it is well done.

Loved his game back when it was out. Such potential. Glad it is being reworked.

Just a heads-up that tomorrow May 30th 2021, Nils will be interviewed by Tortuga Power and The Historical Gamer on their Single Malt Strategy podcast, 10AM CST US (that's about 17:00 CET) along with Jo from Second Front and Amiral Crapaud from Task Force Admiral. There will be all-new exclusive footage from our games, so please join us.
