first of all i give you my thanks for such an exellent mod as GWX 2.0 is great work guys! you all earn a medal! but let i get to the point yesterday i played multiplayer with a friend and i saw that when we start the reykjavikmultiplayermission we both crash. so something is really wrong with it. if we choose a standard mission all works fine. I hope you will look at it and solve it in GWX 2.1

OMG! I just realised that the medal my dad has is an Knight's Cross, instead of Iron Cross as we first though. Just missing that collar thingy.

Dowly, considering that the Knight's Cross was such a big award, you may be able to research the reason/circumstances that it was given to him.

Should be doable, many of the recipients are listed on such sites as wikipedia, same for almost every military medal of most major countries.

Hello Everyone.

I have scrutinised the forums about this and I'm still no further forward. I have a purchased UK - the european version not the US (DVD) version of Silent Hunter 3 which works brilliant.......but I want the new expansion. I downloaded Grey Wolves and I thought it was working great until I tried to go on single missions and then campains. The screens load up and I enter new name and do the usual things before entering and trying to go from the start position.........but the red line dosent fully load. Grey Wolves work brill on Naval Academy but thats it.

Now the patch everyone is talking about 1.4b downloads ok but when trying to install it it comes with the MissionEngine.dll unknown version. I have did what everyone has said on the forums: uninstalled SH3 and deleted every file I could find and tried again but still no joy - it keeps coming up with the same stuff and it also mentions v1.0-1.3 (where is the 1.4). I seriously need some expert help here - is there someone out there to help me correct this cos what I have seen of Grey Wolves Im very impressed and desperate to play.

Welcome.

Your game is probably already patched to 1.4. Check by looking in the bottom right cnr of the Main SH3 Menu.

Now, I assume the GWX campaign loading bar get's to about 90% and then stops? It has not stopped loading, if it has, the game will crash to the desktop and give you an error report.

GWX has added about double the original amount of content that was in SH3 and as such it takes a while to load. Just wait longer, if it's not going to load it will CTD.
