The situation after...

Russia tried to contain me with a war of containment (that soon became a white peace offered by their Ally the Brits)
The North Germany Confederacy tried the same and that resulted in Wurtenberg annexed by me and claimed Sachsen from the Germans.

And now for the RAMMING SPEED! montage:

Southampton vs. Elbing

German Destroyers vs. British Battlecruisers

Tiger vs. Moltke

Glorious victory. Of course...

My Guadalcanal resupply attempt accidentally hit the Slot at the same time with a big Japanese resupply convoy for Tassafaronga and a re-invasion of Tulagi. The result was quite a furball with ships, subs and aircraft all over the place. By far the biggest fight I've seen so far, and quite an exciting thing to watch. Luckily my covering force was "slightly" bigger and better equipped, and even BB Washington managed to tangle with the enemy a bit:

Add to that all the ships hit but not confirmed sunk. Due to rearming and replenishment needs I now have to postpone my planned carrier raid to Rabaul and Truk though

What game is that? Looks interesting. Is it a sim or more an arcade game?

The game is called "Jutland". It's about naval combat during the great war, both in strategical and tactical terms. And it definitly isn't arcade even if it tempts to do some strange actions...

The AI scripts in WitP:AE could be a bit more flexible. Having lost his CVs early in the game he still tied to pull another huge resupply op into Tassafaronga. The results below are against just the first two TFs of at least five that I've spotted heading there. At this point I've got 3xF4 and 2xSBD squarons at Lunga, on top of which CV Saratoga is operating in the area to cover a resupply convoy of my own(which stands back for now). CV Wasp and CV Hornet are one day out and racing to the scene after we realized how big the enemy effort is. 5xB-17E squadrons are also flying naval strikes from Luganville. This will be a make it or break it battle of the campaign, and it isn't looking good for the Jap. Hasn't been easy on my side either: One DD and one AK sunk, while Washington, SDakota and another BB whose name espaces have taken torpedoes from Betties. Despite a 40+Wildcat CAP they still made it to the ships. No threatening damage to the BBs though.
