Hi gents,

I for myself was a UBoot-Fahrer with the German Navy in the 80ties (U18,U24U17 and U16) for quite a time. Studied Computer Sciences after that with a hilite on CG and simulations

I loved to play Subsims from the beginning but my alltime favourite was SH3 with GWX3.0 which gave a feeling I partially knew. After a long time I'd tried SHV, which has nice graphics but is awfully quick and dirty, fit for money-making made. Only this subsimmers society avoided it from being for the dumpster.

I'd like to express my sincere congrats to all enthusiasts which improved SH to something which reminds me personally on a good time in life.

I'm reading these forums for a while and I think it's time for saying hello now. I was in the German Navy for a few years and now studying EE. I'm interested in modern history in general and particularly in the U-Boat War.

Silent hunter II got me started, loved Silent Hunter III and have just started with Silent Hunter IV.
