MUST HAVE! How far along is it? |

Very basic stages. Much work remains to be done on player and AI units and the campaign layers have not even been started. However, I have a lot of experience with campaign and interface modding - it's just a matter of finding the time to get the work done.

Work on the mod continues. I decided to try my hand at editing the main menu graphics - almost posted asking for help but I figured it all out myself.
The WWII Pacific - themed images have been replaced with appropriate WWI photos and paintings. The background movie is a dramatic clip showing the Lusitania sinking. I will have the interface available for download as a SH4 mod in a day or two so that anyone who's interested can critique it.

As promised, here is the preview intro for WOTK. Simply download and enable it through JSGME and uninstall when you've had your fill. It should not affect gameplay in any way because it's just an interface mod. Post comments here or on the release thread; be advised that a few scenes are a bit disturbing. http://www.filefront.com/15552405/Wo...aiser_Intro.7z

Good stuff!
What's the title of the movie from which the background movie is based? |

It's a pretty poor film for the most part (and it uses a WWII sub as the U-20), but the sinking scene was very well done. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1043496/

I just got the "Invincible" to appear ingame. It took damage and fired on my sub when I surfaced. At this point it still has lots of parts from its parent unit (King George V), so no screenshots yet.

Tomorrow I will try adding new gun turrets so that the "Invincible" has the right weapons. At the moment I need to add the following weapons to the game:
British 12" (Battleship/Battlecruiser variant) British 12" (Pre-Dreadnought variant) British 13.5" British 9" British 7.5" German 11" German short-barelled 88mm (for UB-type submarines)

I am testing with SH3 for now, although I should be able to import the models into SH4.
I finally got the Invy looking somewhat presentable. Still no secondary armament for the time being, and several details need to be corrected; however, it has been a good learning experience.
