Tinkered with the A-10 training scenario a bit, has a proper objective now:
A friendly convoy is en-route to Sukhumi-Babushara to establish a forward base. Provide CAS and use the new airfield to launch a strike against the airbase at Guduata. - take-off from Senaki. - provide CAS against targets at Sukhumi-Babushara. - strike at enemy targets at Gudauta. Prioritize heavy armor. - free-fire zone at the abandoned airfield S of Kobuleti airfield. ! SA-15 battery is present W of Gudauta airfield, on the edge of Lidzava. Do NOT wander too far W of the target area, plan your ingress and egress. Should take the convoy about 1-1,5 hour to get there. Also added a dozen T-55s to the free-fire zone, spread out in the open fields N of the abandoned airfield. The idea is to practice using the Avenger against heavy armor, which is pretty tricky. Careful though; they may not be very adept at defending against airborne threats, but they do shoot back. *ah right, tanker: 51MHz, TACAN '1X'. ** new default load-out: - AGM-65D - AGM-65H - 2x CBU-87 - 2x GBU-38 - M151 rocket pod (fragmentation, anti-personnel) - TGP - ECM - Sidewinder rack

My second sidewinder fired at something, and my first air to air kill
Getting closer to see the suffering on board! Holy Jeebus, Batman! That was 'king close Mi-24, Tail No. 50 - check! Finally used the mirrors to check something other than my make-up. Err, I mean my, err... I only took two hits, but they took out my left MFCD and gun Only thing to go to nearest base for repairs - until I alt-tabbed out and found a windows update requiring a reboot - I click wrong

Spotted it over at ED.
Helicopters fly by beating the air into submission. Capture airbase: check. Oh, holes... that explains a few things... The HUD being useless for one. Interesting landing.

Ah! I wondered who that was and how long it would take them to notice that they had lost weight.
