Even if so the US would still be impacted by the war. How nice it would be if the US could just declare itself free from international, rather global, power games. It can't, and I don't see how it can be avoided, which is why post WW2 the US has devoted resources for defense aimed at a clearly globally dominant nature.

I simply don't think isolationism works because we don't choose our neighbors, but we do work at influencing them for self preservation.

The only way Russia survives long term economically is to become a proxy state for China and China is gleefully hoping for that to happen. Course China could jump in fray and that's WW3, but China is too smart for that. Putin has put himself in a lose lose situation and he will choose for himself the course. Russia is showing its claws as they've done in the past, leveling cities with bombings.

Are you crazy? The world wants to jump on Russia, When this virus that has claimed millions of lives came from china. And not one country has said they need to pay. I am just a blue collar worker so what do i know. Just an Ant that does their daily job right?

Well i would like to know how the american people can self preserve, if our politicians continue down this road.? Will it be the American Socialist party who want world Domination or will it be President Putin ? You do know Our Communist believe they are the smartest right? I suppose it comes down to how much social service you think the government should supply. Roads, bridges, airports, harbors, schools, law and order.
